Elektra & Jasmine vs Syn & Delf

After WCF security calmed things down between the teams by escorting everyone but the four combatants in the tag team finale from the arena, the final match on the undercard was underway.

This match pitted two of the unsung partnerships in the tag team division, Jasmine and Elektra of the Crimson Stars against the gruesome twosome otherwise known as Delf and Syn from the Vipers.

Whoever came out on top of this one was sure to vault into the upper echelon of the rankings!

This was Jasmine’s first match since her annihilation at the hands of the giantess Severa.

Afterwards, she vowed to re-dedicate herself to her career.

And here, Jasmine, displaying her newfound aggressiveness, took the match to a stunned Syn in the early going.

Her trademark head scissors sucked the air out of Syn’s lungs and just about peeled the paint off her face.

This was a new Jasmine we were seeing and I for one am lovin’ it!

Jasmine’s aggression rubbed off on her teammate as Elektra executed this missile drop kick perfectly. After the debacle in the previous match, the Crimson Stars were showing that they’re not taking shit from anyone – least of all the Vipers.

Elektra was a house on fire as she tossed Syn from pillar to post. Her father, a former great

European champion, was in the stands tonight from his native Greece and roared his approval!

But just as Elektra was applying her father’s signature submission hold, the

devilish Delf snuck into the ring and clocked the Grecian beauty from behind!

Button

A wicked atomic drop followed.

Elektra’s blood-curdling scream indicated that she was in real trouble!

Delf had the beauty right where she wanted her.

After a Russian leg sweep stunning in its swiftness, Delf applied her

fearsome figure four leglock. Not many wrestlers get out of this hold!

With her father leading the cheers, Elektra showed an inner strength that we hadn’t seen before as inched her way to her partner!

But just as Elektra lunged that final inch to make the tag, the sinister Syn interfered.

Once again, Elektra was double teamed without a response…

Button

…But this time, things were different.

Jasmine nailed Syn with a quick right cross and then lifted the larger fighter for a suplex!

What a move! What gumption!

Button

Jasmine executed the suplex perfectly – too perfectly.

The sickening thud of Syn hitting the unforgiving concrete was nearly matched by the sound of Jasmine’s own fall.

The stunned crowd couldn’t believe what it saw – both fighters out of commission!

Delf, too, couldn’t believe it!

Elektra took advantage of the opening and applied the Athenian sleeper -- a hold she no doubt picked up from her now beaming father!

Led by Elektra’s father, the crowd was on their feet chanting for Delf to sleep and after several minutes,

the mysterious Viper succumbed to slumber. Elektra exulted in her victory and called out to her proud papa!

It looks like there’s a new force in the tag team division!
