Talia vs. Miko
The presence of Talia in the next match meant that the bad blood between the Russian Bear and WCF management caused by the Holly Gold incident has subsided. Talia told me before the match that the Vipers have returned to reclaim their standing as the Federation’s most brutal team.
In her return bout, Talia faced a newcomer, Miko, who accompanied Jasmine on her return to the WCF along with her long time partner Syren to create a new team, the Crimson Stars.
Talia, who was expecting to fight Doma for the #1 contender slot, dismissed Miko as an insufficient challenge.
The Russian Bear accused WCF management (again) of overlooking her legendary skills.
Miko, who little is known about, didn’t like the sound of Talia’s whining and stuck it to the former champ.
Miko was relentless with a series of powerful aerial kicks that had the leader of the Vipers bleeding and reeling...
But the Russian is a crafty fighter.
Although wounded by Miko’s offensive display, Talia was angry.
And an angry Talia means bad news for her opponents.
The Viper slowed down the pace, got her wind back and began to overpower her smaller foe.
Talia’s strength was in full force in a progression of holds, including this deadly move, what she calls an Estonian Crab.
Once she applied her trademark Russian Bear Hug, everyone in the stands knew the end was near.
Only one fighter has ever recovered from that torture to defeat Talia, and that is the WCF champ Victory.
Talia then displayed a new move - something she obviously picked up during her hiatus - a spinal torture rack.
The game, but obviously overmatched Miko, succumbed to her pain and to the brutal Bolshevik.
A triumphant Talia gave the clarion call that she and the Vipers were back and ready for everything and everyone!
“Booooooooo!!!!!!!!!”
“You suck!”
“We hate you”
Talia: “I hate you all! But I am back! And I will get what I want! When I want!
