After a long unbeaten stint in the Northeast of England, she moved to the South and quickly established herself as a top fighter at women's cubs. When club-policies prevented her from fighting nude, she cheekily developed the most minimal of costumes that the rules would allow (albeit usually falling out of them within the first minute of a fight).

Unclear whether her success was due to opponents being intimidated by her voluptuous body, Roberta decided to apply for a place at WCF where no such taboos exist.
